Exciting 11th traditional bull racing festival at Ro Pagoda in 2025

On August 31, the People's Committee of An Cu commune (An Giang province) coordinated with sponsors to organize the 11th traditional bull racing festival at Ro pagoda in 2025 to celebrate the Sene Dolta festival of the Khmer people.

Many wealthy people came to the bull racing arena at Chua Ro pagoda to cheer on the bull pairs.

The tournament brought together 32 pairs of oxen from An Giang province.

This year's bull racing festival attracted 32 pairs of bulls from An Giang province to compete, creating an extremely lively atmosphere. In each race, two pairs of bulls will go through one round of shouting and one round of releasing.

As the tournament progresses, the matches become increasingly exciting with intense competition.

With their seasoned experience, the bull riders skillfully maneuvered their oxen at breakneck speed across the racetrack, creating thrilling moments. On the shore, spectators continuously cheered and applauded the exciting sprints towards the finish line.

Awards were presented to the winning pairs of oxen.

In the final results, Mr. Thai Binh Nguyen's pair of oxen (Chi Lang ward) with number 21 came first; Mr. Chau Thi's pair of oxen (An Cu commune) with number 15 came second; and Mr. Chau Phi Rum's pair of oxen with number 2 came third.
