During the past term, the activities of the city's Fatherland Front have achieved very important results, completing all the goals set by the 6th Congress of the Fatherland Front of Dien Bien Phu City. Notably, the City's Fatherland Front Committee has gathered a large number of people from all walks of life into the great solidarity bloc of all ethnic groups to carry out local political tasks. The content and forms of gathering people are diverse and rich, the strength of great national solidarity is strengthened. In particular, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels in the entire system actively participated in propaganda and mobilization of union members, association members and people, directly going to each family in the clearance areas to grasp the situation, share, explain, and propagate flexibly with many solutions suitable for each specific case. Thereby, it has contributed to persuading and mobilizing thousands of households to voluntarily agree to dismantle and move their houses and assets to hand over clean land to implement key projects in the area.
In addition, the Dien Bien Phu City Fatherland Front Committee also encouraged people of all walks of life to enthusiastically participate in patriotic emulation movements and social campaigns, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks of socio -economic development, national defense and security of the locality. The Fatherland Front and people's organizations increasingly demonstrate their role as a bridge between the Party, the Government and the people. People's foreign affairs; ethnic affairs, and religious affairs have been carried out with outstanding and clear effectiveness; the activities of the Fatherland Front are increasingly directed towards residential areas, villages, and communes with difficulties...
Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province Lo Van Mung requested the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Phu City to continue to innovate the way of thinking, working, propagating and mobilizing the people in the direction of the whole people, comprehensively, with focus and key points, in line with reality, improving the quality and effectiveness of the patriotic emulation movements launched by the Party, the State and the Vietnam Fatherland Front. At the same time, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp the viewpoints and policies of the Party and Uncle Ho that "people are the root", "Whatever is beneficial to the people, do your best to do, whatever is harmful to the people, do your best to avoid". Comrade Lo Van Mung requested the Fatherland Front of Dien Bien Phu City to be resolute, persistent, highly determined, together promoting the training and fostering of cadres in the Front's work system at all levels...
The 7th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dien Bien Phu City, term 2024 - 2029, elected 62 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, term 7, term 2024 - 2029 (58 elected at the Congress, 4 vacant). At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, term 7, elected Mr. Vu Van Dung to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Phu City, term 7, term 2024 - 2029. The Congress also elected 14 delegates to attend the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the Province.
On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Phu City. The People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu City awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 groups and 10 individuals with many achievements in the work of the Front in the past term.
