The 4th Congress of Mong Cai City Business Association, term 2024-2029

On the afternoon of October 11, the Mong Cai City Business Association (HBA) held its 4th Congress for the 2024-2029 term. Representatives of the leaders of the Investment Promotion and Support Board of Quang Ninh Province; Mong Cai City; the Provincial Business Association (HBA) and 210 delegates are business and cooperative owners representing more than 300 members of the City's HBA.

The Executive Committee of Mong Cai City People's Council, term IV, 2024-2029, was introduced to the congress.

Over the past 5 years, the Mong Cai City Business Association has played a good role as a bridge between businesses and authorities at all levels; performed well the role of representing the legitimate rights and interests of businesses; supported the business community in developing production and business, improving competitiveness in the market; encouraged businesses - members to perform well in social security work, build corporate culture, and develop sustainably.

Currently, in Mong Cai city, there are 1,035 enterprises and 85 cooperatives operating in production and business. Of these, 320 enterprises and cooperatives are members of the city's Association of Enterprises. The member enterprises have been making important contributions to economic growth, state budget revenue, actively contributing to job creation, income for workers and implementing social security policies.

In the 2024-2029 term, the Mong Cai City Business Association sets the goal of building a sustainable Association, truly a "common home" for the business community. The Association will focus on organizing and implementing key tasks to enhance support for business development. Membership development must be linked to the interests of members so that the Association's activities are practical, effective and attract members to participate.

Quang Ninh Provincial Business Association has commended and rewarded 20 business groups with outstanding achievements in the activities of Mong Cai City Business Association, term III, 2018-2023.

With the spirit of “Solidarity, innovation, development, sustainability”, the Congress elected the 4th Executive Committee of Mong Cai City People’s Council for the 2024-2029 term, consisting of 40 members. Mr. Dang Duy Quan, Chairman of Mong Cai City People’s Council, Term III, was re-elected as Chairman of the City People’s Council, Term IV.

On this occasion, the City Party Committee presented the Congress with a banner with the words "Solidarity - Innovation - Cooperation - Development, contributing to building a rich and civilized Mong Cai city". The Quang Ninh Provincial Business Association commended and rewarded 20 business collectives with outstanding achievements in the activities of the Mong Cai City Business Association, term III, 2018-2023.
