Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop appointed Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police

On the morning of August 20, Quang Nam Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work. Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop - Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police was transferred to work and hold the position of Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the ceremony. On the side of Quang Nam province, comrades: Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee attended the ceremony.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop - Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police to the position of Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police.

Authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop - Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police to hold the position of Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop, born in 1968, from Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province, is a cadre who has grown up from the grassroots and has held many leadership and command positions in units in the People's Public Security Force, with extensive experience in fighting, preventing and combating crime. In May 2022, while holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Security, Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop was transferred and appointed by the Minister of Public Security to hold the position of Director of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department.

Presenting flowers and congratulating Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop on his appointment as Director of the Provincial Police Department, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet hoped that Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop, together with the collective leadership of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and professional units of the Quang Nam Police Department, would closely coordinate with departments, branches, and localities in advising the Party Committee, the government, and leading and directing the work of ensuring political security and social order and safety in the area; strengthening the fight against and effectively suppressing all types of crimes, maintaining a peaceful and happy life for the people, and serving the economic and social development of the province.

Speaking at the assignment, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security emphasized: In his new position, he requested that comrade Nguyen Huu Hop urgently receive and hand over the work, together with the Party Committee and leaders of Quang Nam Provincial Police, take advantage of the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to closely coordinate with all levels and sectors of the province to promote democracy, internal solidarity and collective intelligence, advise well the local Party Committee and government in the field of ensuring security and order, and pay attention to Party building and force building.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop promised to work with the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police to carry out key tasks, continue to inherit and promote the glorious achievements of the Quang Nam Provincial Police, and strive to excellently complete the tasks entrusted to him by the Central Party Committee of the Public Security, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Party Committee, government, and people of Quang Nam Province.

Previously, on July 22, Major General Nguyen Duc Dung - Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police was elected by the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee. On August 6, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Secretariat to approve the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee for Major General Nguyen Duc Dung. After that, the Minister of Public Security decided to transfer Major General Nguyen Duc Dung to another position.
