General Phan Van Giang visits and inspects some units in the South.

After visiting and inspecting the Southern Helicopter Company, General Phan Van Giang praised the efforts, endeavors and achievements of the unit in the past time. The Southern Helicopter Company has arranged and organized functional subdivisions scientifically and reasonably; promoted the functions of the unit, contributing to enhancing the position and prestige of the 18th Army Corps in the area. In addition, the company's officers, employees and soldiers have high consensus, solidarity, and a firm grasp of technical expertise and foreign languages.

The Minister of National Defense requested that the 18th Corps focus on training students according to specific and systematic curriculum and lesson plans and have flight training logs; at the same time, apply science and technology to archiving work; install camera systems in technical workshops to monitor repair processes.

General Phan Van Giang requested the Corps to do well in Party and political work, and prepare best for the upcoming Congress of the 18th Corps Party Committee; at the same time, requested the unit to pay attention to the lives of cadres, workers and employees; take full care of policies and regimes; increase physical training and sports activities, and improve the health of cadres and soldiers.

Previously, General Phan Van Giang and his delegation visited and inspected Victory Hotel (Logistics Department, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army). General Phan Van Giang requested the hotel to fully exploit its infrastructure facilities, improve the quality of products, equipment and service staff, warmly welcome delegations from inside and outside the Army, and improve production and business results.

On this occasion, General Phan Van Giang presented gifts and encouraged officers and employees of the Southern Helicopter Company and Victory Hotel.
