Colonel Nguyen Nam Trung, General Director of the Z751 Joint Enterprise, said that the Enterprise has just cooperated with the Military Industry-Telecoms Group ( Viettel ) to research and successfully improve the "Mechanical and hydraulic system of missile launchers, missile control VCM, VCMB". The product was displayed at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 and applied to training and combat readiness (SSCD) at units. This is one of many new, modern, high-tech defense products successfully improved by the Enterprise.

In order to improve and manufacture high-tech technical products, the Z751 Joint Enterprise has invested in adding new technology and selecting good cadres and engineers to establish specialized research teams. Investing in science , technical infrastructure and improving the quality of human resources is the key solution for the Enterprise to increasingly meet the task of repairing, improving and ensuring good equipment and technology for training units and combat readiness in the process of building a modern Army.

Through research, we learned that the Z751 Joint Enterprise was established on May 15, 1975, on the basis of taking over the Army Factory of the Saigon puppet army. Immediately after its establishment, the unit's officers and employees quickly mastered the techniques to operate effectively. With the spirit of "all for the front line", the unit's officers and employees both fought and repaired more than 10,000 cars, more than 1,300 tanks, armored vehicles and more than 1,400 artillery pieces... directly and contributed with the Army units to successfully complete the task of protecting the Fatherland and performing international obligations in Cambodia.

Entering the period of innovation, especially in recent years, the task of building a lean, strong, and modern Army has placed high demands on the work of ensuring the modernization of military equipment and technology. Joint Enterprise Z751 continues to receive and repair many types of military equipment and technology that have been used for many years and degraded, while materials and spare parts for repair and improvement are scarce...

To complete its tasks, the Enterprise has proactively improved its lean and compact organization; built specific mechanisms and policies to promote cooperation with domestic and foreign units and enterprises, focusing on scientific research, technology transfer, production, weapon repair, exchange of management experience, human resource training, in which it focuses on training cadres in key areas such as mechanical engineering, improving integrated equipment and technology... The Enterprise has implemented many programs and projects to promote digital transformation, scientific research, technology application associated with promoting initiatives and technical improvements. In the past 5 years, the Enterprise's cadres and employees have applied more than 1,000 topics and initiatives, focusing on improving, converting, upgrading and modernizing army equipment and technology. The Enterprise has invested in many modern production lines to repair automobile engines, armored vehicles and repair anti-aircraft artillery, infantry guns, ground artillery...; timely repair and improvement of many special, modern weapons, application of high technology and production of hundreds of thousands of technical materials, overcoming material shortages, replacing imported sources, saving the State tens of billions of dong each year.

Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Van Chinh, Director of the Armored Vehicle Repair Enterprise, said: Over the past 5 years, the unit has compiled 50 sets of technological processes and more than 300 work orders for repairing armored vehicles. Through the models of "Leading workers with deep expertise"; "Workers good at one profession, knowing many professions", the unit has trained and educated its staff to improve their qualifications, master science and technology, and come up with 81 topics and initiatives, promptly producing many scarce technical materials such as PT76 tank wheel bearings, K63 tracked armored vehicle wheel bearings, M113 armored vehicle wheel bearings, etc.; repairing 358 armored vehicles, ensuring technical coefficients.

The Auto Repair Enterprise has also invested in upgrading its technical infrastructure and design and production management software. The unit has had more than 100 initiatives and repaired and improved many products such as: Installing 85mm cannons on cars; missile control radar vehicles...

Faced with the rapid development of science and technology, the Z751 Joint Enterprise is determined to continue to promote the spirit of self-reliance, overcoming difficulties, being passionate about creative work, mastering science and technology; investing in technology with focus, contributing to the successful implementation of the defense industry development strategy in the new period.
