On July 16, the People's Council of Dak Lak province, term XV, 2021-2026, held its first thematic meeting to review and decide on many important contents within its authority.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council reviewed the submissions of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, focused on discussing and unanimously passed 9 important resolutions, creating a legal corridor for the Provincial People's Committee to manage and operate socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the province in the coming time.
One of the important resolutions that delegates are interested in is the Resolution approving the targets and plans for socio-economic development, national defense and security assurance of Dak Lak province in the last 6 months of 2025 on the basis of consolidating resolutions on socio-economic development, national defense and security assurance of Dak Lak province and Phu Yen province (old).
Accordingly, economic growth in 2025 will reach 8% or more, of which the last 6 months will reach 8.64%; the service sector will increase by 8.34%, of which the last 6 months will increase by 8.98%.
Product taxes (excluding product subsidies) increased by 5.36%, of which the last 6 months increased by 10.28%. The average value of gross product per capita by the end of 2025 will reach 80 million VND/person.
Total social investment capital reached 73,670 billion VND, an increase of 25.8% compared to 2024, accounting for about 32% of total GRDP at current prices, of which the last 6 months of the year reached 45,027 billion VND.
Total export turnover reaches more than 2.2 billion USD, up 2.2% compared to 2024, of which the last 6 months of 2025 will reach 715 million USD.
Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue reached VND 182,281 billion, up 9.4% compared to 2024, of which the last 6 months of the year reached VND 89,540 billion.
Total state budget revenue in the province reached 16,310 billion VND, an increase of 15% compared to 2024, of which the last 6 months of the year reached 7,592 billion VND.
Develop infrastructure by the end of 2025, ensuring proactive irrigation for 83.7% of crop areas that need irrigation; urbanization rate reaches 27.2%; develop social housing, build 2,800 social houses.
3,688 new enterprises and 75 cooperatives were established, of which 2,212 new enterprises and 29 cooperatives were established in the last 6 months of the year.
By the end of 2025, the poverty rate will decrease by 3% or more; the poverty rate among ethnic minorities will decrease by 4% or more; jobs will be created for about 55,800 people, of which 2,950 will be exported; the rate of workers participating in social insurance will reach 17.7%.
Strive to have 26/88 communes meet new rural standards, equivalent to 29.55%; the rate of urban population provided with clean water reaches 93.13%; the rate of rural population using hygienic water reaches 98.42%; the rate of forest coverage (including rubber trees) reaches 41.37%...
In addition, the meeting also passed many important resolutions such as: Resolution regulating support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working at the provincial and commune administrative centers after reorganization in Dak Lak province.
Resolution on adjusting the local budget estimate for 2025 of Dak Lak province after the rearrangement; Resolution on allocating the regular expenditure estimate of the state budget to implement the National Target Programs for 2025; Resolution on adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 of Dak Lak province after the rearrangement.
Resolution on adjusting the 2025 public investment plan and the 2024 public investment plan to extend the implementation and disbursement period to 2025 of Dak Lak province after the reorganization.
Resolution stipulating specific spending levels for local industrial promotion activities in Dak Lak province; Resolution stipulating content and spending levels for organizing cultural and artistic activities serving political tasks in Dak Lak province...
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hoa An emphasized: The resolutions passed at the meeting are extremely important for the economic and social development, ensuring national defense and security of the province in the last 6 months of the year and the coming years, especially the resolution regulating policies to support travel, housing rental, helping cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to work at the administrative center of the province and commune level after being re-arranged in Dak Lak province to promptly overcome difficulties, stabilize travel and accommodation, and focus on work.
