Based on the direction of the Department of Health , the General Hospital, the Regional Medical Center, the Health Station and the People's Committees of the communes: Dong Van, Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Meo Vac, Lung Cu, Sa Phin, Lung Phin, Pho Bang have developed a plan to ensure the health and safety of delegates, visitors, people and service forces at the festival. At the same time, prepare plans to prevent, detect early and promptly handle arising medical situations.
During the period before the festival, the People's Committees of the communes coordinated with the functional forces to establish interdisciplinary inspection teams to inspect and supervise food production, processing, trading establishments, and catering services serving the festival. The inspection content focused on hygiene conditions, origin of raw materials, food processing and preservation procedures, use of additives, processing tools, food sample storage, price listing, etc.
The inspection teams combined propaganda for businesses to use clear, quality food sources and encouraged people not to use food of unknown origin. Medical units also proactively monitored infectious diseases that are easily transmitted through the digestive and respiratory tracts, and were ready to handle any food poisoning that occurred.
Strengthening food safety assurance aims to create a safe tourism environment, contribute to protecting public health and ensure the success of the 11th Buckwheat Flower Festival and receive tourism titles in 2025.
