Ensuring electricity supply for the 18th Hanoi Party Congress

EVNHANOI builds a plan to ensure safe, continuous and stable power supply to serve the 18th Hanoi Party Congress.

With the main target being the National Convention Center and the delegates' accommodation locations, EVNHANOI commits to not stopping the reduction of high, medium and low voltage grid power supply during the event.

Important locations are supplied with electricity by two grid sources with automatic transfer system (ATS) and backup generators with uninterruptible power system (UPS). Transformer stations with a total capacity of more than 17,800kVA ensure power supply to the hall and surrounding areas. At the same time, EVNHANOI arranges forces on duty and is ready to handle incidents and repair electricity 24/24h.

Tu Liem Power Company is assigned to closely coordinate with the Organizing Committee and the National Convention Center to check, operate and supplement UPS if necessary. Forecasting the load to reach Pmax 4,860MW and Amax 90,000MWh/day, EVNHANOI has arranged 24/7 staff on duty, ready to handle incidents at key locations.

Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem and Tu Liem power companies proactively updated information on delegates' accommodation locations to ensure continuous power supply. The daily reporting system was strictly implemented and sent to the Hanoi Party Committee, Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies, ensuring transparency and timeliness.

With thorough preparation, EVNHANOI has arranged sufficient human resources, equipment, and spare materials ready for any situation, ensuring a safe, continuous, and stable power source to serve the 18th Hanoi Party Congress to take place successfully, safely, and solemnly.
