Mr. David Ippersiel, General Manager of Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort and Convention Center, shared that for the Indian market, to organize large-scale wedding events, meeting strict requirements from facilities to professional event organization services is indispensable.

At the same time, the novelty and reputation of the destination are also very important criteria for the bride's family to decide where to hold the wedding event. Although the flight route from India to Da Nang is currently suspended, couples can still choose connecting flights through locations such as: Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoai An said that the Da Nang tourism industry is currently working with relevant parties and preparing content and resources for a pilot program to attract regular wedding tourists to Da Nang.

In 2024, the city's Department of Tourism will proactively implement activities to promote and advertise Da Nang tourism, focusing on wedding tourism targeting the Indian market, such as participating in the SATTE India Fair and inviting Indian wedding planners to survey and experience wedding tourism infrastructure in Da Nang.

It is known that, along with proposing the City People's Committee to approve the pilot program to attract wedding tourists to Da Nang, the Da Nang City Department of Tourism coordinated with units to immediately deploy activities to welcome the first Indian wedding delegation to Da Nang in 2024.

Specifically, in coordination with Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), the wedding welcome message was projected on the LED screen at the immigration area.
