Video of nearly 100 dolphins "dancing" in Nha Trang Bay.
At around 1:00 p.m. on May 18, Mr. Van, a resident of Nha Trang, was fishing near Hon Dung, about 10 km from the coast of Nha Trang, when he discovered dolphins swimming in a school several dozen meters long.
The school of fish continuously emerged and dived, some about 50 meters away from his boat, making him and some people on the boat extremely excited, taking out their phones to film and share on social networks.
Mr. Van said that in the group there were a few that weighed about 100 kg. The group moved for about 10 minutes and then disappeared. He estimated that this group of dolphins had about 100 individuals and were migrating.
Mr. Dam Hai Van - Head of Nha Trang Bay Management Board said that dolphins migrating through the sea shows that the marine environment in Nha Trang Bay is recovering well.
Previously, dolphins appeared many times in coastal waters in Khanh Hoa in 2020 and 2022 with hundreds of individuals.
Dolphins are mammals, 1.2 - 9.5m long, weighing from 40kg to 10 tons, often living in shallow seas, swimming in groups of several dozen to hundreds. Dolphins are intelligent, friendly, and have saved many people in distress at sea.
