In March 2025, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs was established on the basis of merging the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs and the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. Currently, the Party Committee has 6 subordinate Party cells, with 109 Party members.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs organized 23 conferences to study and implement directives and resolutions issued by the Central and the province, with over 95% of party members, civil servants and employees participating. During the term, 12 new party members were admitted; 99.6% of party members were classified as having completed their tasks well or better; 100% of agencies and units under the Department achieved the title of Advanced Labor Collective or better; 100% achieved strong unions.
Leading and directing the implementation of assigned political tasks well; advising on the successful organization of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; completing the development of 700 projects and approving job positions, completing the arrangement and settlement of policies for redundant cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers after the rearrangement of administrative units; continuing to review, streamline the apparatus and stabilize after the rearrangement; recruiting and receiving 1,974 civil servants and public employees... In the past 5 years, 341 collectives and 363 outstanding individuals have been introduced in patriotic emulation movements; presenting provincial-level commendations to 5,459 cases, including 1,946 collectives; 3,513 individuals; and state-level commendations to 98 cases. In addition, the Party Committee always strengthens inspection, examination and internal affairs work; Emulation and reward work continues to have positive changes.
The work of Party building, rectification, and development of Party members has been promoted comprehensively, continuously, and synchronously in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and cadres. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style has been linked to the implementation of professional tasks, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of cadres and Party members. 114 regular meetings were organized, with over 700 Party members and the masses participating, integrating the content of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; the content of the works of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; and implementing Plan No. 91-KH/TU on implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs identifies the common goal of improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; building a strong contingent of cadres and party members, promoting the spirit of solidarity, democracy, innovation and creativity; applying digital transformation in management and operation; building a contingent of civil servants, public employees and workers with good moral qualities, strong political will, high professional capacity, sense of responsibility, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation; continuing to innovate leadership methods, improving the quality of advisory work, successfully completing assigned political tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
Strive for 95% of party members to complete their tasks well or better every year, of which 15% of party members complete their tasks excellently; 100% of party cells to complete their tasks well or better, of which 20% of party cells complete their tasks excellently; party committees to complete their tasks well or better; admit 5 or more party members.
Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Ba Phuong suggested: In the new term, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs will continue to strengthen political and ideological education, organize and seriously implement resolutions, directives, regulations of the Party, policies and laws of the State to cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers. Implement well the model of "4 good party committees" (complete political tasks well; good quality of life; good solidarity, discipline and good cadres and party members). At the same time, continue to advise on perfecting institutions in the fields of sectoral management, focus on advising on promoting decentralization and delegation of power, synchronized with the implementation of the 2-level local government model, creating a legal corridor; promptly propose to handle practical issues, remove institutional "bottlenecks", contributing to the implementation of local socio -economic development goals.
The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to appoint the Party Executive Committee of the Department of Home Affairs for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 11 comrades; to appoint the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, consisting of 3 comrades; to announce the decision to appoint the Inspection Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Lam Thi Tu Anh, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress approved the personnel plan to appoint delegates to attend the Party Congress at a higher level; the delegates voted to approve the Congress Resolution.
