Notably, it has advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to successfully complete military and defense tasks. Actively and proactively implement the policy of arranging and adjusting local military agencies; the quality of training, combat readiness, regular construction, and discipline training has many positive changes; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations have been improved, internal solidarity and unity have been achieved, and agencies and units have been stable and solid.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee determined to continue to lead, thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the leadership and direction documents of the Military Region, Provincial Party Committee, and Provincial People's Committee on military, national defense, and border tasks; complete the remaining goals, targets, and main tasks of 2025.

Lead and direct the Defense Zone Command, the Border Guard Command and the Commune-level Military Command to operate in an orderly, functional and effective manner; promote the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Regarding the direction for the last 6 months of the year, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Nghe An province emphasized that it is necessary to focus on implementing the goal of 100% of agencies and units strictly implementing the combat readiness regime; promptly supplementing, adjusting, and developing documents and plans that are close to mission requirements; coordinating to grasp and advise on timely handling of situations, not to be passive or surprised. Complete the content and program of military training, political education, and fostering national defense and security knowledge for the subjects; improve the quality of administrative reform work, and widely deploy the "Digital Popular Education" movement in the provincial military.

In the task groups, it is necessary to focus on 3 task groups, one is to focus on leading local military agencies after stabilizing the organization and staffing, ensuring proper and effective operations; two is to focus on leading and directing the preparation and organization of grassroots party congresses and the 14th Provincial Military Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term to be successful; three is to closely and carefully lead and direct the implementation of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Military Region and Provincial Military.
