In the first 6 months of 2025, the Provincial Military Party Committee has thoroughly grasped the resolutions and directives of the superiors, closely followed the local and unit situation to lead, direct, advise, propose, and successfully implement all tasks. Notably, it has well performed its advisory function to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue directives and plans to comprehensively and effectively lead and direct all aspects of military and defense work; directed localities to select and call citizens to join the army to ensure sufficient quotas, good quality, and timely mobilization policies. Leaders strictly maintained combat readiness; coordinated with localities to maintain political security - social order and safety in the area. At the same time, well directed the military rear policy.
Along with that, the Provincial Military Party Committee also focused on leading the building of strong and comprehensive agencies and units; emulation movements to win in conjunction with patriotic emulation movements were promoted and deepened; the material and spiritual life and working conditions of cadres and soldiers were well ensured; preparations for the Provincial Military Party Congress were actively carried out. Implementing the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on streamlining the political system and reorganizing local military agencies, the Provincial Military Party Committee established a working group to direct and guide the work of arranging military organizations in the armed forces; leading the mobilization, rotation, and arrangement of military numbers according to the regulations of superiors and the Party Committee's regulations.
Concluding the conference, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, highly appreciated the achievements in military and defense work in the first 6 months of the year of the Provincial Military Party Committee, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development results of the province.
Regarding the tasks for the last 6 months of the year, he emphasized that this is a historic period for the whole country as well as Quang Ninh province when the 2-level local government model will officially come into operation. To meet the requirements and tasks set out in the current context, military and defense work must be focused on and strengthened. Absolutely do not let passive and unexpected situations arise. In addition, agencies and units continue to seriously and effectively implement the tasks set out in 2025. In particular, focusing on researching and proposing solutions to implement Resolution 57 in the military and defense field; focusing on training and fostering the team of Commanders and Deputy Commanders of the Military Command at the commune level for the communes after the rearrangement; gradually improving the professional quality, qualifications and regularity of this team, contributing to the successful implementation of military and defense tasks in the new development stage of the province and the country.
