
Comrade Nguyen Thi Hai Anh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, Deputy Head of the Standing Organizing Committee of Lao Cai International Tourism Fair chaired the conference.
Attending the conference were representatives of member industries of the Fair Organizing Committee.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Lao Cai International Tourism Fair was carefully and meticulously prepared and professionally and effectively organized. Although it was the first time, 53 units, organizations, provinces and cities participated, with a total of over 130 booths, including 14 international booths (from 6 countries: China, France, Thailand, Korea, Denmark, India).
The main contents of the fair were implemented as planned, ensuring progress according to the set requirements and safety and security conditions. All tourism and service businesses operated healthily, consciously ensuring service quality standards, posting prices and selling at the correct listed prices according to regulations. All arising tasks were resolved promptly.



Activities within the framework of the Fair such as: Discussion on “Connecting Green Tourism”, activities connecting businesses with B2B businesses, between businesses and B2C tourists, organizing Famtrip, Presstrip survey groups... were all successful, exceeding the expected number of delegates and tourists attending, receiving the attention and enthusiastic participation of businesses, highly appreciated for their quality and professionalism.
During the 4 days of organization (June 5-8), more than 20,000 people and tourists visited and experienced the activities of the fair. The fair was widely spread and communicated through domestic and international mass media channels and over 8,000 social networking accounts and pages (Facebook, Zalo, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok...) of organizations and individuals.
The programs and events have effectively exploited cultural values, opened up many opportunities for exchange and cooperation with new, creative, unique and in-depth organization, creating highlights to attract domestic and foreign tourists. At the Business Connection program, 15 memorandums of understanding were signed between tourism businesses, tourism associations and investors.

At the conference, delegates assessed and recognized some limitations of the fair, thereby proposing effective solutions for the next Lao Cai International Tourism Fair.
