Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visited and presented gifts at the Sam Son Nursing Center for Meritorious People ( Ministry of Home Affairs ); Thanh Hoa Center for Care and Nurturing Meritorious People; and policy families in Cam Thuy commune.
Over the years, the Sam Son Nursing Center for Meritorious People has become a warm common home, welcoming and caring for meritorious people from localities inside and outside the province. The center is conveniently located near Sam Son beach, suitable for nursing and convalescence; the staff and nurses are experienced; the infrastructure meets the needs of serving a large number of meritorious people, building trust with policy beneficiaries.

However, the Center is still facing many difficulties such as overloaded facilities during peak times; funding mainly depends on the state budget while socialized resources are limited; the nursing staff is still small, work pressure is high;...
In the above conditions, the staff of the Center has always been dedicated, united, and made efforts to care for, treat, and restore the health of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and meritorious people who come here to rest.

Moved and excited to visit the Sam Son Nursing Center for Meritorious People, to meet many comrades of wounded soldiers, people with meritorious services, representatives of families with meritorious services, officers and employees of the Center, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh sent to the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services his warmest greetings and deepest gratitude; affirmed that the Party and State always pay special attention to taking care of people with meritorious services and families with meritorious services; wished that people with meritorious services and families with meritorious services always promote the tradition of patriotism and revolution, have a happy, healthy and prosperous life, and continue to contribute to the cause of national construction and development.

"Coming to the Center, I was very moved and excited to meet many wounded soldiers, people with meritorious services, and representatives of families with preferential policies... Here, I had many overwhelming emotions, both grateful for their contributions and admiring the examples in the resistance war, and happy and excited to see the good health of the wounded soldiers, people with meritorious services...", Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh expressed.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister also acknowledged, highly appreciated and respectfully thanked the staff and nurses of the Center for their dedication in caring for and restoring the health of those with meritorious services; wished that the staff and employees of the Center would always be united, promote the tradition and spirit of dedication, and do their jobs well, leaving a good impression and satisfaction for the wounded soldiers who come to receive care here, thereby contributing to the good implementation of the policy of "Repaying gratitude" of the Party and State.
Over the years, the Thanh Hoa Center for Care and Nurturing People with Meritorious Services has truly become a warm and affectionate common home for people with meritorious services. Currently, the Center is nurturing, treating and rehabilitating 223 people, including 91 comrades who are wounded and sick soldiers (of which, 40 wounded and sick soldiers have a severe disability rate of 81%-100% and 51 people have a disability rate of 21%-80%); 22 people are wives and children of martyrs; 2 people who directly participated in the resistance war were infected with toxic chemicals; 108 people are children of resistance soldiers infected with toxic chemicals. Many doctors have been cared for and treated at the Center for nearly 40 years, the oldest doctor is 88 years old and most of the doctors are between 60-70 years old.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh hopes that the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services will be assured of treatment and health recovery, always be shining examples of bravery and sacrifice, and add motivation for the Center's staff to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party and State in implementing preferential policies for people with meritorious services.

Previously, in Cam Thuy commune, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Ha Thi Boi (mother of a martyr) and Mr. Pham Van Cau (war invalid).
Mrs. Ha Thi Boi, 97 years old this year, is the mother of martyr Bui Van Tuyen (died in January 1973); currently living with her daughter in Dong Cha residential group, Cam Thuy commune, Thanh Hoa province.
Mr. Pham Van Cau is 85 years old this year; enlisted in May 1966, injured on June 26, 1973 at the Southern Front; currently living in Song village, Cam Thuy commune, Thanh Hoa province.
Thanh Hoa province has a total of 350,377 people who have contributed to the revolution, including: 4,634 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (currently there are 46 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers still alive); 55,977 martyrs; 860 veteran revolutionary cadres, 444 pre-uprising cadres, 43,610 war invalids; 15,977 sick soldiers; 15,237 resistance fighters and their children infected with toxic chemicals; 1,169 people who have contributed to the revolution; 1,636 resistance fighters who were imprisoned by the enemy; 210,833 resistance fighters who were awarded Orders and Medals...
Currently, the whole province has 64,009 people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives who are receiving monthly preferential allowances for people with meritorious services to the revolution; over 99.8% of households of people with meritorious services to the revolution have a standard of living equal to or higher than the average standard of living of the residential community; 100% of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers have been supported and cared for for life by agencies, departments, branches, units, organizations, and enterprises inside and outside the province.
