In the Avdeevka hotspot, Ukraine admitted to losing control of the Avdeevka industrial zone. According to AVP, Ukrainian military analysts confirmed that the industrial zone in Avdiivka has fallen under the control of the Russian military. This means that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost their positions on the southern flank of the city.
In the industrial zone at Yasinovatsky Lane and the Yasinovataya-2 station, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also lost control after successive victories by the Russian army. It should be noted that attempts by Ukraine to retain the remaining areas in these industrial zones were also unsuccessful. This area is considered a powerful stronghold with many multi-level fortifications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The fighting situation in Avdeevka has been tense for many days. Currently, the Russian army has gained control of the important Avdeevka industrial zone.
There was earlier information about an unsuccessful Ukrainian counterattack attempt in Avdeevka. However, Russian sources did not mention this attack.
Ukrainian analysts also noted the difficult situation in Stepovoy, admitting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer control the settlement. Meanwhile, the Russian Armed Forces are trying to gain positions to the east of the village. At the coke plant, the Russians have advanced 200 meters to the southeast.
