Leaders of Binh Dinh province and many departments and units recently had a field survey at Vung Chua mountain.

Vung Chua Mountain has the highest peak about 600m above sea level, is the highest peak of Quy Nhon city, like a towering screen.

The road to the top of Vung Chua is winding and zigzagging, with shady trees on both sides, green natural forests on one side, and Quy Nhon beach in the distance, with the colors of sunshine and sand.

On cool and cloudy days, visitors will feel the cool misty feeling like Da Lat. There are many green pine hills, along with hills of sim flowers, flowers, forest trees... very rich and diverse, creating a wild and majestic beauty.

Following the directions of the locals, we followed Highway 1D, to the intersection between the highway and the road to Quy Hoa (just past the small road down to Ghenh Rang Tourist Area), then followed the concrete road up to the radar station on the mountain. Continuing along that winding mountain pass, we reached the top of Vung Chua.

Leaders of Binh Dinh province and many departments and units recently conducted a field survey at Vung Chua mountain. The purpose is to study the possibility of planning this area into a multi-functional complex, including a golf course, a resort urban area, land for experts and a space for scientific and technological research.

Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee said: Golf course on the mountain, but looking across the sea, this is a very interesting story. A rare terrain, both with landscape elements and favorable for developing ecological urban areas and science and technology. Quy Nhon has beautiful beaches, modern coastal urban areas and international scientific space.

The development of a world-class golf course on Vung Chua Mountain, along with a pristine pine forest ecosystem and a sea view, will become an important highlight, contributing to completing the urban picture in the future.

To ensure sustainable development, the Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the entire planning and construction process will strictly adhere to the principles of forest conservation and protection of native tree species. In particular, the pine forest, a tree species that has become a symbol of Vung Chua, will be maximally protected to avoid being affected by the development project.

“It is wonderful to have a plateau like this in the middle of the city. The air is fresh and close to the sea. This is a great opportunity but also requires caution and a long-term vision,” Mr. Ho Quoc Dung acknowledged and emphasized that the golf course project on Vung Chua mountain is part of the strategy to develop an ecological urban area, connecting nature and modern amenities.
