On the evening of January 31, the Hanoi City Police Investigation Agency announced the identities of 6 former officials prosecuted in connection with the fire in Khuong Ha.
Accordingly, based on the investigation results of the case "Violating regulations on fire prevention and fighting", which occurred on September 12, 2023, at house number 37, lane 29/70 Khuong Ha, Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi city, the Investigation Police Agency of Hanoi City Police has issued a decision to supplement the criminal case of "Lack of responsibility causing serious consequences", issued a decision to prosecute 6 defendants for the crime of "Lack of responsibility causing serious consequences", prescribed in Clause 3, Article 360 of the Penal Code, including:
1. Nguyen Dinh Quan, former Head of the Construction Information Team of Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee, period 2014-2016, currently Head of the Construction Information Team of Nhan Chinh Ward People's Committee, Thanh Xuan District.
2. Chu Xuan Son, former Vice Chairman of Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee, period 2015 - 2020, currently Chairman of Thanh Xuan Nam Ward People's Committee.
3. Nguyen Thi Kim Trang, former cadastral officer of Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee, period 2010 - 2018, currently cadastral officer of Thanh Xuan Bac Ward People's Committee.
4. Tran Trong Khang, former Captain of the Construction Investigation Team of Thanh Xuan District People's Committee, period 2013 - 2016, now retired.
5. Pham Tan Anh, Vice Chairman of Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee, from 2018 to present.
6. Nguyen Tuan Anh, former Deputy Chief of Police of Khuong Dinh Ward.
The City Police Investigation Agency also issued an arrest warrant for the defendants Nguyen Dinh Quan, Tran Trong Khang, and Chu Xuan Son. Issued an order prohibiting them from leaving their place of residence and a decision to temporarily suspend their exit from the country for the defendants Nguyen Thi Kim Trang, Pham Tan Anh, and Nguyen Tuan Anh. Ordered a search of the residence and workplace of the above defendants to serve the investigation.
The above Decisions and Orders have been approved by the Hanoi People's Procuracy.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency continues to expand the investigation to clarify the entire content of the case and handle it according to the provisions of law.
