Training in Finance and Management in English opens up opportunities for students to access global knowledge.

According to the National Economics University, the international bachelor program jointly developed by the two universities is designed in an advanced way, taught entirely in English, and the lecturers are professors, associate professors, and doctors who have been trained in advanced countries and have extensive experience from the National Economics University and La Trobe University (Australia). Students can study and live in a dynamic, friendly environment, with modern facilities and equipment for teaching and learning.

Students of the program can study all 3 years, or 2 years at the National Economics University and transfer to Australia to study for 1 year. Upon admission, students are given an account and have full rights as regular students of La Trobe University.

The National Economics University said that students admitted to the joint program between the two universities in 2025 all have good academic ability and English proficiency, including those who have achieved IELTS 8.0, which is a very favorable condition for studying and living in an international environment.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 4th course of the La Trobe - NEU program held on September 13, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of the National Economics University, said that the joint program with La Trobe University was officially implemented by the two schools from 2022, providing Vietnamese students with the opportunity to access advanced global education , harmoniously combining knowledge, modern science and technology of Australia and the academic strength and prestige of the National Economics University.

Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Chairman of the National Economics University Council, spoke at the Opening Ceremony.

“Students admitted to the program will not only acquire knowledge and practice skills, but also have their character strengthened, their aspirations nurtured, and their global vision expanded. After graduation, they will confidently become financial and management experts with solid foundations, ready to contribute to the country’s development and international integration,” said Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Duc Tho.

Professor Amalia Di Iorio, Vice-Chancellor, Academic Partnerships, La Trobe University, shared that the joint program between the two universities is a collaboration connecting countries, cultures and academic communities. The program equips students with practical skills, real-life experience and confidence to take on leadership roles in the global business environment. Through specialized projects, lectures and practical learning activities, students have the capacity, knowledge and skills to succeed both in Vietnam and internationally.

The National Economics University said that all students of the La Trobe - NEU program when admitted will be awarded a 30% scholarship (deducted directly from tuition fees). At the opening ceremony, banks and businesses also awarded 44 scholarships with a total amount of 200 million VND to 10 new students with excellent results in the entrance exam, 22 students with excellent academic achievements and 9 class officers, active union members, 3 best students of course 1, course 2, course 3.
