Present at the construction site of component 2 project from Ma Noi commune to Ta Nang intersection, Duc Trong district ( Lam Dong province), we noted that contractors are urgently constructing, in which many sections have been paved with asphalt, the drainage system, and the slope along the route are being reinforced. On the route, there are two bridges with completed upper structure construction and complete asphalt. The section bordering Duc Trong district, after being approved by the competent authority for the conversion of forest land use purpose, has been started by contractors to soon connect the entire route.
Mr. Tran Trach, Commander of Package No. 22 of Phuc Thanh An Joint Stock Company, said that the unit has completed the roadbed and asphalt pavement for more than 4km. Since the beginning of 2024, the unit has been focusing on machinery and equipment to speed up the construction of roads and bridges on the main route. Currently, the package's progress has reached nearly 90% of output, and the contractor is rushing to complete the two bridges in April. After being handed over the remaining areas, the construction unit strives to complete the package ahead of schedule.

According to the project management board, the Tan Son ( Ninh Thuan ) - Duc Trong (Lam Dong) inter-regional road project includes 2 component projects with a length of more than 40km, with a total investment of over 1,000 billion VND, and will be implemented in early 2023. Up to now, a 22km section (component project 1) has been opened to traffic to connect to Lam Dong province, the remaining 18km (component project 2) of the Tan Son - Duc Trong inter-regional road after the "bottlenecks" in terms of land and forest land conversion procedures were removed, the project management board has directed contractors to speed up construction, aiming to open the entire project in the first quarter of 2025.
On the Northern beltway connecting National Highway 1 to the coastal road, more than 10km long, contractors are also urgently constructing to strive to open the route by the end of 2024. These days, the construction site is bustling with vehicles carrying materials. For the coastal road section through Dam Nai, Nhon Hai commune (Ninh Hai), the contractor has paved 2km of asphalt. The section through the communes of Tri Hai and Phuong Hai (Ninh Hai), many locations are still stuck with power line infrastructure, so the implementation of construction is still facing difficulties. Engineer Ha Huy Hoanh, Construction Commander of Package 23 (under Lien Minh Company) said that the contractor is currently constructing the roadbed and compacting the K95 stone layer. After receiving the site, the construction unit quickly gathered equipment and machinery to speed up the progress. In the near future, when the power and water lines at the National Highway 1 - Kien Kien (Thuan Bac) intersection are relocated, the contractor will rush to complete the foundation and roadbed before the rainy season and simultaneously construct the entire route. Strive to asphalt the main route by the end of 2024 to complete the package. According to the project management board, the Northern belt road connecting National Highway 1 (the section near Ba Thap relic, Thuan Bac district) connects Ninh Hai and Thuan Bac districts, with a length of about 10.2 km and a total investment of more than 487 billion VND. Up to now, the project management board is coordinating with local authorities and the electricity sector to focus on relocating power lines and technical infrastructure within the last 6 km of the route in Ninh Hai district.

Mr. Pham Minh Tan, Director of the Project Management Board, said: The unit is currently implementing 4 projects including: The road connecting Tan Son town to Ta Nang intersection; the road connecting the North-South expressway with National Highway 1 and Ca Na general seaport; Van Lam-Son Hai road and the road from Khanh Nhon pass to National Highway 1. To overcome difficulties and speed up the progress of the projects, the Project Management Board is closely coordinating with sectors and localities to focus on directing the implementation of items in accordance with technical procedures associated with ensuring labor safety to reach the finish line on schedule. On the other hand, to effectively disburse public investment capital, the Project Management Board has worked with contractors to research, propose measures, and organize construction appropriately and specifically for each project to ensure both quality requirements and progress. In addition, the unit also organizes working sessions and meetings to listen and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles. In particular, attach work to specific responsibilities for each individual; during project implementation, review and resolutely transfer capital from projects with low disbursement rates to projects with high completion and disbursement potential and large capital needs. In addition, closely coordinate with contractors, regularly inspect and require construction units to focus on human resources and construction materials to ensure the assigned progress. Strengthen management and closely monitor the quality and volume of construction works, comply with the design. Particularly for projects with capital allocation plans, focus on completing related documents and procedures for implementation as soon as possible.
According to the Department of Transport, the province will continue to develop the Southeast beltway to connect with the Northern beltway of the province. Once completed, the routes will increase connectivity, creating a complete traffic network, ensuring shortened distances for transporting goods and raw material areas to industrial parks in the province. Traffic projects not only meet the travel and freight transport needs of people but also generate revenue from land funds along the route, attract investment, and create momentum for economic development of localities in the province.
