VnExpressVnExpress28/11/2023

According to Vinh City leaders, by early 2024 at the latest, the site clearance for the extended Nguyen Sy Sach road will be completed so that units can construct the remaining road section.

The extended Nguyen Sy Sach Street is one of the items in the plan to expand Vinh urban space. The road has a total length of more than 6.3 km; stretching through the communes of Hung Loc, Hung Hoa and Hung Dung ward, Vinh city.

The starting point of the route is Km0+00 (intersection with Nguyen Phong Sac Street), the end point is Km6+327.04 (connecting to Lam River embankment road). This is also an important traffic route, connecting Vinh city center with Lam River embankment road, connecting Cua Lo beach tourist area and Cua Hoi bridge connecting to Ha Tinh province.

The project started in 2018, aiming to ensure a synchronous technical infrastructure system, forming an architectural landscape axis in the eastern part of the city. The route is also expected to create a highlight, opening up opportunities to attract investment, contributing to promoting socio -economic development for the city.

However, this project was not completed on time and was extended due to problems related to cemetery land resettlement, determining the origin of land for compensation and site clearance...

Mr. Le Van Huu - Construction site commander said that the contractor hopes to receive the land from the remaining households soon. With the land, the units can bring in machinery, equipment, and human resources, ensuring the earliest progress to hand over to the City People's Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Sy Dieu - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee said that by the end of December, at the latest in the first quarter of 2024, the locality will complete the site clearance. "When the site is available, with this construction volume, it will take a few months for the contractor to complete," said Mr. Dieu.

According to this person, the city is currently in the process of carrying out the next procedures to continue implementing phase 2 of the project by mid-2024, which is to expand the entire road to both sides.

Nguyen Sy Sach is one of the largest streets in the city, passing through a large area; it is considered as the financial and banking street of Vinh, because it gathers many credit institution offices and high-end interior services and construction materials.

Real estate experts assess that the extended section of Nguyen Sy Sach Street still has abundant land fund, and the infrastructure is not yet synchronized. The completion of investment and construction and the opening of the road promises to attract real estate giants. In this area, there are projects such as: Eco Central Park with an area of nearly 200 hectares, the city's 137-hectare regulating lake project funded by the World Bank.
