Admission method of Foreign Language University - VNU 2025
In 2025, the University of Foreign Languages - VNU will enroll students based on the following 4 admission methods:
Method 1: Direct admission according to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training
Candidates who win first, second and third prizes in the national excellent student selection exam in foreign languages will be directly admitted to majors suitable for the exam subjects.
Method 2: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025
Admission score = [(Subject 1 score + Subject 2 score + (Foreign Language score x 2))/4 x 3] + bonus points + priority points (if any)
In there:
Priority points = [(30 – Total points achieved including bonus points)/7.5] × Priority points for region and subject
Method 3: Consider foreign language certificates combined with high school graduation exam results in 2025
Admission score = [(Subject 1 score + Subject 2 score + (Certificate conversion score to 10 x 2 scale))/4 x 3] + bonus points + priority points (if any)
In there:
Priority points = [(30 – Total points achieved including bonus points)/7.5] × Priority points for region and subject
Method 4: Admission based on the results of the High School Student Competency Assessment Test organized by VNU
Candidates use the results of the National High School Exam organized by VNU, in which the English component score is at least 30/50 points.
Admission score scale: Admission is based on a 150-point scale, then converted to a 30-point scale according to the standard conversion formula of VNU and priority points are added according to regulations.
Method 5: Admission based on certificates combined with high school academic results
Admission score = [(Subject 1 score + Subject 2 score + (Certificate conversion score to 10 x 2 scale))/4 x 3] + bonus points + priority points (if any)
