The Prime Minister was delighted to meet the Secretary General again, thanking the OECD for its support and assistance to Vietnam in assuming the role of Co-Chair of the Southeast Asia Program, especially its contribution to the success of the OECD-Southeast Asia Ministerial Forum and the Vietnam-OECD Investment Forum which took place from October 26-27; hoping that the OECD and the Secretary General personally will continue to pay attention, support, and devote resources to promoting cooperation and support for the region.

In particular, he suggested that OECD help Vietnam build a policy to attract high-quality investment to help Vietnam participate more deeply in the global value and supply chain, while ensuring the interests of investors and effectively adapting to the application of new standards, especially global minimum tax.
