Based on the heavy rain that has lasted for the past day and the forecast of continued rainfall in the following days, many roads in the province have experienced landslides, deep flooding, and strong currents, especially on National Highway 27, which is currently experiencing complicated developments in terms of slope landslides and fallen trees causing traffic congestion. Therefore, the Department of Construction requested the Provincial Police to coordinate with functional forces and local authorities to set up checkpoints to prevent people and vehicles from traveling on National Highway 27 (Song Pha Pass) when safety conditions on the road are not ensured. For transport enterprises and bus stations, it is recommended to proactively adjust the itinerary, change the route to avoid National Highway 27 during the time the authorities block the road. Bus stations should increase propaganda at the station, arrange loudspeakers and electronic boards to warn passengers and transport units. People and transport enterprises must strictly follow the instructions of the authorities on road closures and traffic diversion at dangerous locations; do not intentionally cross deep flooded and landslide sections; do not stop or park vehicles in areas at risk of falling rocks and landslides on National Highway 27. It is recommended that the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province coordinate with the authorities to deploy blockades on National Highway 27 under the management of Lam Dong province when landslides occur on the route; regularly exchange information with the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province to coordinate to ensure traffic on the route.
