Recently, the Ministry of Home Affairs has proposed a list of regions with particularly difficult socio -economic conditions to serve as a basis for determining cases where workers can retire at a lower age than the retirement age under normal working conditions.
Quang Ngai has Ly Son Special Zone and the communes: Bo Y, Duc Nong, Dak Koi, Dak Long, Dak Mon, Dak Pek, Dak Plo, Dak Pxi, Dak Rve, Dak Sao, Dak To Kan, Ia Dal, Ia Toi, Kon Dao, Kon Plong, Mang But, Mang Den, Mang Ri, Mo Rai, Ngoc Linh, Ngok Tu, Ro Koi, Sa Binh, Sa Loong, Tu Mo Rong, Xop, Ya Ly are identified as areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions.
The subjects of application are employees and employers specified in Clauses 1, 2 and 3, Article 2 of the Labor Code; agencies, organizations and individuals related to social insurance.
The time an employee worked before January 1, 2021 in a place with a regional allowance coefficient of 0.7 or higher, or a place with a regional allowance of 25% or higher, is determined as the time working in an area with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, to serve as a basis for determining cases where retirement can be at a lower age than the retirement age under normal working conditions.
The working time of employees from January 1, 2021 to before July 1, 2025 in areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions is applied according to the List of areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions, to serve as a basis for determining cases where retirement can be at a lower age than the retirement age under normal working conditions.
