A commune donated more than 300 million VND to support flood victims.

QNgTV- On the morning of October 18, Chairman of the People's Committee of Kon Braih Commune, Quang Ngai Province, Le Quang Chinh, said that the commune government had organized to receive donations of more than 300 million VND to help localities affected by storm No. 10.

According to Mr. Le Quang Chinh, hundreds of officials, people and businesses in Kon Braih commune participated in the support, including ethnic minorities. In just a few days, the locality received more than 305 million VND and will continue to mobilize more in villages and hamlets to promptly support people in the damaged areas.

Kon Braih commune leaders said that, based on the wishes of the people, the commune has launched a support campaign. Although the amount of money received is not large, it is the sentiment of the officials and people in the area. The commune will soon transfer the support money to the people in the flood-hit areas, contributing to helping people ease their difficulties.
