Poetry Night on the Lantern Festival, Year of the Dragon 2024

On the evening of February 24th, in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized the Lantern Festival Poetry Night 2024 with the theme "A Harmony of the Nation". Attending the Lantern Festival Poetry Night were representatives from provincial departments and agencies, artists, and poetry lovers from across the province.

Following the opening drumbeat by Mr. Pham Van Muon, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts, the poetry night began with the poem "Nguyen Tieu" by President Ho Chi Minh , accompanied by traditional Vietnamese musical instruments. Authors presented 20 works on the themes of celebrating the Party, the spring, and the renewal of the homeland: "Spring Returns, Remembering Uncle Ho" (Ngo Minh Son); "Greeting Spring 2024" (Le Minh Thong); "Uncle Ho, Spring Arrives" (Thai Ba Anh); "The Grapevine of Our Land" (Huu Loi); "Spring on Truong Sa Island" (Duong Thanh Mai); "Visiting Thuan Bac with You" (Le Hien); "Greeting the New Spring" (Pham Quoc Ty); "A Spring Picture" (Le Van Nguyen); "Spring in My Homeland" (Anh Hong); "Thank You" (Nguyen Van Minh); "The Sea" (Tran Can); "Going to School in Spring" (Huu Nghia)...

The poem "Nguyen Tieu" by President Ho Chi Minh is performed by artist Thanh Hai.

The Lantern Festival poetry night program featured recitations by Thanh Hai, Hong Nhung, Hong Thom, Bach Kim, Kim Loi, and Quang Chien. Performers from the Ninh Thuan Ethnic Music and Dance Troupe and the Provincial Cultural Center presented songs such as: "Ninh Thuan in Spring" (poem by Tran Tuan Hung, music by Pham Thanh Liem); "Ninh Thuan with Golden Sunshine and Blue Sea" (Phan Quoc Anh); "The Homeland Calls My Name" (poem by Nguyen Phan Que Mai, music by Dinh Trung Can)...

The Lantern Festival Poetry Night of the Year of the Dragon 2024 attracted poetry lovers who came to enjoy the performance and offer flowers to show their support, creating a fresh new atmosphere in the cultural life of the people.
