Before the August Revolution in 1945, Hao Kiet Temple was the place where the local Party's grassroots organization secretly operated. On August 22, 1945, representatives of the people of 25 villages in Quan Trung commune gathered at Hao Kiet Temple to listen to the Viet Minh District Propaganda Team disseminate the District Party Committee's plan to seize power. The Quan Trung Commune Uprising Committee was elected here. The temple was also the place where a number of district and commune meetings were held.

Since 1949, Hao Kiet Temple has been the place of worship of dozens of temples, pagodas, communal houses, and shrines in the area. Therefore, here, there are also worshiped gods who have been worshiped together, typically: Ke Quan Cong Phan Cong Ngan, Cao Son Cao Cac...

Hao Kiet Temple was built during the Le Trung Hung Dynasty, in a beautiful landscape location, surrounded by mountains and rivers, in the middle of a peaceful and prosperous countryside. Over the course of hundreds of years, the relic has been restored and embellished many times.

Many valuable carvings are still preserved on the wooden structures. The carving themes are rich, such as dragon and cloud drawings, water waves, meticulously carved pieces, delicate lines, soft and graceful patterns, creating vivid sculptures, demonstrating the talent and creativity of the artisans.

Inside the relic, ancient artifacts such as a throne, wooden sword, royal treasure chest, offerings tray, and large inscriptions are still preserved, further increasing the artistic value of the relic.
