Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced how to convert admission scores for 2025

(Dan Tri) - Hanoi University of Science and Technology has just announced how to convert standard scores for 3 admission methods in 2025.

The conversion method is calculated based on the top % of exam scores from the floor score to the highest score, including: the top % of high school graduation exam scores is calculated based on the total score of the original admission combination A00 (math-physics-chemistry) for candidates with scores from the floor score to the highest score (30 points); the top % of talent admission scores (XTTN) 1.2 and 1.3 is calculated based on the total number of candidates with scores according to the XTTN method from the floor score to the highest score (100 points); the top % of thinking assessment scores (ĐGTD) is calculated based on the total number of candidates with TSA scores from the floor score to the highest score (100 points).

For other high school graduation exam score combinations other than the original combination A00, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will calculate based on the corresponding difference in scores announced by the Ministry of Education and Training along with the high school graduation exam scores.

From this correlation table, there will be different ways to convert benchmark scores between admission methods.

For example, in 2024, the benchmark (admission score) of the MS2 program/major - Microelectronics Engineering and Nanotechnology of Hanoi University of Science and Technology according to the thinking assessment method is 71.68 points (x = 71.68). Thus, this benchmark score will be in the range of 3 points, equivalent to the level from [68.55 - 74.77) of the thinking assessment test score, equivalent to the high school graduation exam score from [27.14 - 28.04). From there, the corresponding conversion factor will be:

a = 68.55; b = 74.77; c = 27.14; d = 28.04
