Hanoi National University has a new 44-year-old vice director

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Decision 767/QD-TTg to temporarily appoint Mr. Dao Thanh Truong, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), to hold the position of Vice Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Mr. Dao Thanh Truong, 44 years old, from Hai Phong, graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2001 and received a doctorate in sociology in 2010, both from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi ), and was appointed Associate Professor of Sociology in 2016.

Mr. Dao Thanh Truong's main research directions include: policy and management (policy analysis and evaluation, policy evaluation criteria, building socio -economic development strategies); science and technology policy and management (social mobility of science and technology human resources; creative startup policy; science, technology and innovation system; science and technology business incubation; management of science and technology organizations).

Before becoming Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mr. Dao Thanh Truong held many leadership and management positions such as Head of the Department of Science and Technology Management, Head of the Faculty of Management Science, Director of the Institute of Policy and Management (Key Research Center of Hanoi National University)...

After Mr. Dao Thanh Truong was appointed Vice President of Hanoi National University, the Board of Directors of Hanoi National University has Director Professor Le Quan and Vice Presidents: Associate Professor Nguyen Hoang Hai, Associate Professor Pham Bao Son, Associate Professor Nguyen Hieu, Associate Professor Dao Thanh Truong.
