Even though they arrived at school late, as soon as they reached the gate they heard the national anthem. All the students standing outside the school gate stood up straight and raised their hands to perform the flag salute ceremony. After performing this ceremony from outside the gate, these students asked the security guard for permission to enter the school.

This adorable image was captured by a parent this morning, April 28, in front of the gate of Thai Thinh Secondary School (Dong Da District, Hanoi ) during the school's flag-raising ceremony.

Sharing with VietNamNet , Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong, Principal of Thai Thinh Secondary School (Dong Da District, Hanoi) said that this morning, the school held a special flag-raising ceremony, not only with the usual meaning but also towards the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Mr. Cuong said that this image was recorded by a parent and sent to him after the flag-raising ceremony ended.

“The school always reminds cadres, teachers, staff and students that when the Flag Salute ceremony is performed, everyone in which position must stand at attention and look towards the red flag with a yellow star of the Fatherland. The students have probably absorbed that, so when they arrive at school, even though they understand that they are late, they do not rush to enter the school immediately but stand solemnly to perform the Flag Salute ceremony with the whole school, before asking the security guard for permission to enter the school. At that time, it was around 7:30 this morning. At that time, a parent who brought his child late also stood to perform the Flag Salute ceremony. Another parent saw the scene and recorded it,” said Mr. Cuong.

Mr. Cuong said that although they were late for school, this was still a very lovely image of the students. “The students demonstrated the discipline andeducational spirit of the school. The incident happened accidentally and was randomly recorded by a parent at a daily moment, but it shows that the students are serious with themselves and the group,” Mr. Cuong said.
