The University of Languages and International Studies (VNU) has just announced the predicted admission scores for its majors this year ranging from 19 to 25 points. Of which, the English and Chinese Pedagogy majors are predicted to have the highest admission scores of 23 to 25 points based on the high school graduation exam scores.
Following are predicted to be Japanese Pedagogy and Korean Pedagogy with scores of 22 – 23.5. The remaining majors are predicted to have scores of 19 – 23.
In addition to predicting the benchmark score based on the high school graduation exam scores, the school also predicts the benchmark score based on the method of considering academic records and assessing capacity. In which, the English and Chinese Pedagogy majors are predicted to be at 120 - 130 points based on the method of considering the competency test scores and 24.75 - 26.5 points based on the method of considering academic records.

This year, the University of Foreign Languages has up to 42 admission combinations. The 5 admission methods of the University of Foreign Languages in 2025 include:
Method 1 - direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
If last year, in method 2 - considering high school graduation exam results, the school used 11 combinations, this year there are up to 42 combinations for admission. With the admission score scale, the school multiplies the coefficient of 2 foreign languages, then converts it to a 30-point scale and adds priority points according to regulations.
Method 3 - admission combines foreign language certificate with high school graduation exam results. This certificate is converted to a 10-point scale combined with the remaining 2 subjects in the school's admission combination.
Similarly, the conversion score of foreign language certificates is calculated with a coefficient of 2, then converted to a 30-point scale and priority points are added according to regulations.
Method 4 - consider the results of the capacity assessment test organized by VNU.
Method 5 - consider certificates combined with academic records for high school students of Hanoi National University or students of specialized programs/specialized classes of specialized high schools at provincial and centrally-run city levels whose academic results for all 3 years of high school are assessed as good (academic performance ranked excellent or higher).
In 2024, the benchmark score of the University of Foreign Languages is from 26.75 - 38.45 on a scale of 40 (Foreign Language subject has a coefficient of 2), the highest is English Pedagogy. In the 2025-2026 school year, tuition fees will range from 16.9 to 65 million VND/school year. The highest level will be applied to the Economics - Finance major. The English, French, Chinese, German, Japanese and Korean language majors will all charge 38 million VND/school year. The Russian and Arabic language majors will continue to maintain tuition fees at 21 million VND/school year. The Transnational Culture and Communication, Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Culture majors will have the lowest tuition fee of 16.9 million VND.
