On the morning of July 22, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the input quality assurance threshold for health majors at university and college levels in 2025.

Accordingly, the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores for admission to majors in the health sector with university-level practice certificates in 2025 for candidates in region 3 has the minimum score (without coefficient) of all combinations of 3 exams/subjects, excluding bonus points, regardless of the exam results of candidates studying the 2006 and 2018 programs as follows:

Medicine and Dentistry have the highest input quality assurance threshold, taking 20.5 points; followed by Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy with 19 points.

Majors in the health sector require candidates to have a score of 17 or higher, including: Nursing, Preventive Medicine, Midwifery, Dental Prosthetics, Medical Testing, Medical Imaging and Rehabilitation.

This year's floor score is 2 points lower than in 2024. The floor score for university level for health majors with a practice certificate in 2024 is from 19 to 22.5 points: Medicine and Dentistry are 22.5 points; Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy are 21 points; The remaining majors are 19 points.
