Dien Ban must resolutely clear land for key projects

Reporting at the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of Dien Ban town, Secretary of the Town Party Committee Phan Minh Dung presented important recommendations of the locality: Proposing the province to increase the quota of civil servants (currently assigned 114 positions); consider researching the management apparatus of urban housing development projects to promote the urban development process of Dien Ban; soon have a plan to resolve the " Da Nang University Village" project; have a policy to completely resolve the backlog and problems of urban area projects in the area...

In 2023, the total production value of Dien Ban is estimated to reach more than 24.7 trillion VND. The total state budget revenue in the area is more than 2.6 trillion VND. The poverty rate of Dien Ban is 0.68% (420 households). In 2023, Dien Ban town established 5 more wards, so far Dien Ban has a total of 12 wards/20 administrative units. According to the provincial planning, by 2030 Dien Ban will become a type III urban area.

At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and sectors said that in recent times, Dien Ban's socio -economic development has developed, demonstrating its role as a growth pole of the province, but it is not commensurate with its potential, and there are still many limitations that need to be resolved soon.

Dien Ban needs to review the overall planning of the town; strengthen the management of the current status and construction order; promote the development of social housing; increase the disbursement of public investment capital...

According to Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Dien Ban is a land rich in revolutionary tradition with "many firsts" and needs to continue to be invested in and developed to match its position and potential. " Quang Nam has identified Dien Ban as one of the growth drivers according to the provincial planning, so it is necessary to study how to prioritize, have policies, and reasonable allocation methods to promote this growth pole" - said comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also noted that Dien Ban must strengthen Party building work, pay attention to organizing the implementation of resolutions associated with specific resources, not speaking in general terms.

Dien Ban must focus on disbursing public investment capital, consider site clearance, especially for key projects and projects with foreign loans, as a central task, attaching personal responsibility, and mobilizing the participation of the entire political system to remove bottlenecks that have existed in the past.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also requested Dien Ban and related units to urgently review real estate projects to have specific and reasonable solutions to avoid further protracted delays. Localities must thoroughly resolve outstanding and pressing issues in the area, truly paying attention to the quality of life of the people.
