Dien Bien does not organize art performances to welcome the 15th Provincial Party Congress

Proactively adapting to the situation of floods and damage caused by natural disasters; at the same time sharing the difficulties with people in flood-affected provinces, Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee has directed not to organize the art program to welcome the 15th Provincial Party Congress as planned.

Specifically, in Official Dispatch No. 2879-CV/TU signed by Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, it is stated that: Recently, storm No. 11 and its circulation have caused floods, flash floods, landslides, causing serious damage to life, property and essential infrastructure in many localities in the Northern and Central regions.

To join hands with the whole country to focus on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, promptly deploy measures to prevent floods, flash floods, landslides in the province in the coming time, the Standing Committee of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee agreed not to organize an art program to welcome the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 according to the plan of the Propaganda and Celebration Subcommittee serving the Provincial Party Congress.

The Standing Committee of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee, the Propaganda and Celebration Subcommittee serving the Congress and relevant agencies to seriously implement.

Previously, with the goal of organizing the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 in a practical, economical and effective manner, on August 8, 2025, Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, also signed and issued Notice No. 1718-TB/TU on not purchasing or providing leather briefcases containing Congress documents and congress delegate uniforms (according to the plan of the Logistics Subcommittee serving the congress) for delegates and guests attending the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

As planned, the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, will be held in 3 days (from October 14-16); 358 official delegates will attend the congress.

The preparatory session of the Congress begins at 7:30 a.m. on October 14; the official session opens at 7:30 a.m. on October 15; the Congress is expected to close at 4:00 p.m. on October 16, 2025.
