According to TASS , Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a press conference that Russia noted President Trump's statement on July 14 and will carefully analyze his words.
"The recent statements of the US President are very serious. We will certainly need time to analyze what he said in Washington," said Dmitry Peskov.

The Kremlin spokesman stressed that Russia is still ready for negotiations and is waiting for Ukraine to propose a date for a third round of direct talks.
Earlier, President Trump announced that he would impose "secondary" tariffs of up to 100% on Russia's trading partners if President Vladimir Putin did not agree to an agreement to end the Ukraine conflict within 50 days.
"If (Russia-Ukraine) do not reach a ceasefire agreement by September, we will apply secondary tariffs," the White House boss emphasized.
Mr. Trump also announced that he would send more US weapons and military aid to Ukraine.
On July 15, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that President Trump had issued a "theatrical ultimatum" to the Kremlin and Moscow was not interested in it.
"Trump has issued a theatrical ultimatum to the Kremlin. The world is worried and predicts the outcome. The belligerent Europe is disappointed, and Russia does not care," Medvedev wrote in English on the social network X.
