Congratulatory message on the occasion of the National Day of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the National Day of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (September 9, 1948 - September 9, 2023), Vietnamese leaders sent congratulatory messages to the North Korean leaders.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the National Day of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (September 9, 1948 - September 9, 2023), General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong and President Vo Van Thuong sent a joint congratulatory message to General Secretary and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a congratulatory message to Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Tok Hun.

In the congratulatory message, the Vietnamese high-ranking leaders congratulated the DPRK people on their achievements in national construction and development, including effective epidemic prevention and economic growth recovery after the pandemic; believing that with the joint efforts of the leaders and people of the two countries, the relationship between the two countries will continue to be strengthened and developed in the coming time.

On this occasion, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son also sent a congratulatory message to North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui.
