Diep Lam Anh said that because her ex-husband denied having an affair in court, in order to protect the children and gain custody, Diep Lam Anh decided to release the clip.

Previously, on July 5, Diep Lam Anh and her ex-husband went to the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City to attend the appeal hearing of the child custody case after divorce.

At the first instance, the court ruled that each person would have custody of one child. Specifically, Diep Lam Anh’s ex-husband had custody of the son while the actress had custody of the eldest daughter. However, both parties later appealed, wanting custody of both children.

The actress said the trial will be rescheduled for early August.
