At noon on June 22nd, LUNAS's performance of "Moonlight" officially aired during the 5th Performance Night of the "Riding the Wind 2024" program (season 5 of the "Sisters Riding the Waves" show).
On their first international stage, the five members of LUNAS received enthusiastic support from Chinese audiences and female artists participating in Riding the Wind 2024. All five not only delivered a flawless and innovative rendition of the song "Moonlight" with impressive Chinese lyrics, but also presented five special individual performances.
Opening LUNAS's special performance, Huyen Baby recreated her sensational Vietnamese zither playing from the 2023 "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" show. The LUNAS member hoped to showcase one of Vietnam's cultural aspects, a traditional musical instrument, when given the opportunity to perform on an international stage. Khong Tu Quynh's dance performance with chairs, featuring many difficult moves, thrilled the Chinese artists. KARA member Nicole reacted with surprise while watching Khong Tu Quynh's solo performance.
Instead of energetic dances, Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc decided to showcase her acting skills by performing with a mirror. Bringing her familiar street hip-hop style to the "Riding the Wind" stage, Diep Lam Anh received enthusiastic applause from the audience. Finally, Trang Phap excelled in her skillful pole dance performance, with difficult and dangerous moves. Through their individual performances, LUNAS fully displayed the unique colors of each member and left a lasting impression on the Chinese audience.
During their group performance, LUNAS showcased impressive choreography with their debut song, " Moonlight ." Trang Phap changed a few lines to Chinese to add a special touch to the performance while on stage at the 2024 Wind Riding event.
Previously, the five members encountered costume issues during the official rehearsal for the 2024 "Riding the Wind" 5th Performance. Specifically, at the last minute, all members had to urgently change their outfits due to unforeseen circumstances related to the staging and formation changes of the overall performance. However, LUNAS quickly regained their spirits and energy to deliver the most perfect performance possible for the audience.
