Investigation to clarify 5 subjects in the drug trafficking, storage and illegal use organization ring - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

 

- On April 24, the Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police said that the unit had investigated and clarified 5 subjects involved in a ring of buying, selling, storing and organizing illegal use of drugs that occurred in Loc Binh district and Lang Son city.

Previously, on April 7, Tu Mich Commune Police, Loc Binh District discovered and arrested Nong Van Cuong, born in 1994, residing in Ban Rooc Hamlet, Tu Mich Commune, for illegal possession of drugs. The seized exhibits included 1 plastic bag containing white powder, identified as heroin; 1 motorbike, license plate 61H1-175.36 and some related exhibits.

Expanding the investigation, on April 8, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Lang Son Provincial Police coordinated with Hoang Dong Commune Police, Lang Son City to arrest 3 more subjects for storing and organizing illegal use of drugs, including: Hoang Van Duy, born in 1998, residing in Loi Bac Commune; Hoang Van Duc, born in 2004 and Ma Van Em, born in 1998, residing in Tu Mich Commune, Loc Binh District.

During the search of Hoang Van Duy and Hoang Van Duc's residence, police seized two more plastic bags containing a white powder identified as heroin, three cell phones, two motorbikes, and a number of related exhibits.

The subjects include Hoang Van Duc, Nguyen Minh Quan, Ma Van Em (from right to left) at the police station.

Also on April 8, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police coordinated with the Tam Thanh Ward Police, Lang Son City to arrest and urgently search the residence of Nguyen Minh Quan, born in 1982, residing in Tam Thanh Ward, Lang Son City.

During the search, the police seized 1 package of heroin and many exhibits related to illegal drug trafficking. Nguyen Minh Quan confessed to selling drugs to Hoang Van Duc and Ma Van Em for profit.

Currently, the police are continuing to investigate and handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law.
