(QNO) - On May 12 and 13, Dac Pring Border Guard Station (Nam Giang) visited and gave gifts to households in Petapot residential area (Dac Pring commune).

Petapot residential area, nearly 20km from the commune administrative center, has complex terrain, is isolated, and has difficult transportation. Currently, there are 9 households/39 people, all of whom are Ve ethnic people. The lives of the people here are difficult in all aspects. Sharing with the people during the lean season, the Command of Dac Pring Border Guard Station visited, encouraged, and presented 9 gifts, including many necessities, such as: instant noodles, fish sauce, dried fish, cooking oil, MSG... each gift worth 500,000 VND.

Major Nguyen Sy Danh - Political Commissar of Dac Pring Border Guard Station said that in recent years, with the attention of leaders at all levels, departments and branches of the province, district and locality, the lives of households in Petapot residential area have gradually stabilized, however, due to difficult travel conditions, people's lives in general still have many difficulties.
Therefore, in addition to the attention of leaders at all levels, over the years, the unit has sent hundreds of officers and soldiers to regularly visit, encourage, give gifts and support livestock and livestock to help people develop their economy . At the same time, it has organized many meaningful activities such as: building and repairing houses, installing solar lights; providing free medical examinations and medicine to people.
