Báo Đại Đoàn KếtBáo Đại Đoàn Kết04/03/2025

This year's Hung Kings' Commemoration Day falls on Monday, so workers will have three consecutive days off, from April 5 to April 7.

According to current law, employees are entitled to 11 official paid holidays in 2025. Specifically: 1 day for New Year's Day; 5 days for Lunar New Year; 1 day for April 30; 1 day for International Labor Day; 2 days for National Day; 1 day for Hung King's Commemoration Day.

Thus, after Lunar New Year, civil servants and workers will continue to have holidays for Hung Kings' death anniversary and April 30 - May 1.

This year, Hung King’s Commemoration Day falls on Monday, the first working day of the week. Therefore, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers who work on Saturday and Sunday will have 3 consecutive days off, from April 5 to April 7.

According to the 2025 holiday notice, Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) will swap working days for 5 consecutive days off, from April 30 to May 4. Employees will work on Saturday, April 26 to make up for the missed work.

For agencies and units that do not have a fixed schedule for Saturday and Sunday every week, they will base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable schedule.

The drafting agency encourages businesses to give employees time off according to the above schedule. Due to work requirements, businesses may proactively ask employees to work on holidays and Tet. This case will be considered overtime.
