The Phu Yen Provincial Nursing Association has 15 branches with over 900 members, including nurses, technicians, and midwives. According to Distinguished Physician Dao My Diem Kieu, President of the Phu Yen Provincial Nursing Association and Head of the Nursing Department at Phu Yen General Hospital, nursing is a profession where "sweat is shed so that patients can smile." Patients' health stabilizes and they are discharged from the hospital quickly – this is the silent result and the significant contribution of nurses.
On the occasion of International Nurses Day (May 12th), Phu Yen Newspaper presents some images of the work of these unsung "white-coat warriors".
