The working delegation of Hung Yen province presented funds to support people of Lao Cai province affected by natural disasters.

On the morning of October 16, a working delegation from Hung Yen province led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, came to present funds to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in Lao Cai province.

The working delegation of Hung Yen province symbolically handed over the money to support the people of Lao Cai province to overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters.

Recently, due to the impact of storm circulation, Lao Cai province has had heavy rains, causing flash floods and landslides in many areas, causing a lot of damage. On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Yen province, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented an amount of money from the Hung Yen Provincial Relief Fund to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, amounting to 1 billion VND to support people to overcome the damage caused by natural disasters. Expressing his deep sympathy and sharing with the heavy damage caused by floods in Lao Cai province, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Hung Yen highly appreciated the determination and proactiveness of Lao Cai province in implementing solutions to prevent, overcome and minimize the damage to people and property caused by natural disasters. Through the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than and the working delegation expressed their sympathy for the difficulties and human and material losses suffered by the locality during the recent storm and flood. He hoped that this support would help Lao Cai people to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives, and fulfill socio -economic development goals.
