Martyr Le Van Kha (alias Tu Tong), hometown Phu An Hoa, Chau Thanh, Ben Tre (now Phu Tuc commune, Vinh Long province), was an inspection officer of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Board, died on June 26, 1970, in Tan Hao while on duty.

During the resistance war, Tan Hao commune was the place where our revolutionary units were often stationed. Therefore, when cadres and soldiers died, they were often brought to Mieu Dien area for burial. Later, this area was planned to become a solemn martyrs' cemetery with an area of about 5,000m2. Mieu Dien Martyrs' Cemetery has 678 martyrs' graves, of which more than 200 martyrs' graves have not been identified.

During this period, Working Group No. 6 of the Central Inspection Committee came to offer incense and pay homage at the historical monument of the Central Inspection Committee of the Southern Region (Tan Lap Commune, Tay Ninh Province), organized a meeting and presented gifts to comrades who are children of war invalids working at the Department of Area VII.

The activities to commemorate and express gratitude for the contributions of war invalids and martyrs who have devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation demonstrate the Party's concern for families with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) and review the glorious tradition of the Party Inspection sector over nearly 80 years of construction, dedication and growth, the contributions of generations of cadres, civil servants and workers to the revolutionary cause of the Party and State, building and defending the Fatherland, and building an increasingly strong Party Inspection sector.
