Delegation of Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and worked in Laos

At the meeting, Comrade Trieu Tai Vinh thanked Comrade Khamphanh Pheuyavong for taking the time to receive the delegation; reported on the results of the talks with Comrade Laopaoxong Navongxay, Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Training Department of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party; and informed about the socio -economic development situation of Vietnam in recent times; emphasizing that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to closely coordinate in cooperation, helping each other more and more effectively.

Comrade Khamphanh Pheuyavong highly appreciated the special cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Laos and Vietnam as well as the results of the talks between the Central Propaganda and Education Commission of Vietnam and the Central Propaganda and Education Commission of Laos; thanked the Central Propaganda and Education Commission of Vietnam for its cooperation, support and assistance to the Central Propaganda and Education Commission of Laos over the past time.

Also on the morning of November 19, the delegation of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and worked with the Central Lao Front for National Construction.

At the meeting, Comrade Inlavanh Keobounphan, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction, highly appreciated the visit and work in Laos of the delegation of the Central Committee for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization; at the same time, informed the delegation about the outstanding situation of Laos as well as the Lao Front for National Construction in recent times; affirmed that the two Parties, two States and people of Laos and Vietnam always stand side by side, cannot be separated; expressed sincere gratitude to the Party, State and people of Vietnam in general, and the Central Committee for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization in particular, for their valuable support and assistance to Laos over the past time.

Previously, within the framework of the visit and work in Laos from November 16-19, the delegation of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission led by comrade Trieu Tai Vinh had talks with comrade Laopaoxong Navongxay, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission; had talks with the Secretary of the Luangprabang Provincial Party Committee; visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos.

At the meeting with the Central Propaganda Department of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the two sides informed each other about the situation of each Party and each country; highly appreciated the outstanding results in propaganda and education work; and agreed to continue to deploy and organize the implementation of the bilateral cooperation agreement.

The two sides also affirmed to closely coordinate in drafting propaganda documents and disseminating the achievements in organizing and implementing the guidelines and policies of the two Parties and States, the fine traditions and brotherly solidarity on mass media, widely in many forms, making people know and deeply understand the tradition, the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam, Vietnam and Laos, which is increasingly going into depth, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.
