Delegation of Department of Education and Sports of Savannakhet province had friendly exchange in Quang Tri

Tonight, August 2, in Dong Ha City, a culinary festival and cultural and artistic exchange program took place between the Department of Education and Sports of Savannakhet Province (Laos) with the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association and the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association of Quang Tri Medical College. This is the second year this friendship exchange program has been organized.

At the program, there were special performances, including songs praising Vietnam - Laos, the two provinces of Quang Tri - Savannakhet; representatives of units of the two provinces gave each other gifts to strengthen the friendly relationship.

This is an opportunity to help teachers and students of the two provinces better understand the history and culture, and review the special friendship and solidarity of the people of Vietnam and Laos in general and the two provinces of Quang Tri and Savannakhet in particular.

Previously, the delegation from the Department of Education and Sports of Savannakhet province offered incense and flowers at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery, Road 9 and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel; and visited a number of historical sites in Quang Tri province.
