QTO - To prepare for the military recruitment in 2026, localities such as Dong Hoi, Dong Son, Dong Thuan wards, etc. have stepped up propaganda on the Law on Military Service and the Law on People's Public Security; at the same time, they have strengthened strict management of the youth force ready to join the army. Thereby, it has contributed to raising legal awareness, arousing pride and responsibility of each citizen to their homeland and the Fatherland. Many young people in the localities have written applications to volunteer to join the military service and the People's Public Security in 2026.

Comrade Hoang Ngoc Dan, Chairman of Dong Hoi Ward People's Committee, said: In 2025, the Military Service Council of the old Dong Hoi City has strictly implemented the steps of selecting and calling citizens to join the army, ensuring sufficient and good quality military service.

Specifically, the localities (Dong Hoi, Dong Son, Dong Thuan) have 101 citizens enlisted. Of these, 75 new recruits were assigned to military units, including: Coast Guard Region 2 Command, Provincial Border Guard Command, Infantry Division 324 (Military Region 4), Provincial Military Command and 26 new recruits joined the People's Public Security service.

The local Party Committee, government and residential groups have implemented well the policies to encourage the army. In particular, they have paid attention to giving gifts to support and encourage citizens before leaving for military service, with each citizen receiving an average of nearly 6 million VND in support; activities to meet, see off and welcome soldiers who have completed their service and returned to their localities have been carefully organized, creating trust and an exciting atmosphere.

Before this year's military recruitment season, Dong Hoi ward had 17 young people volunteering to join the army. Of these, 10 young people registered to perform military service and 7 young people registered to join the People's Public Security service with the desire to train themselves in the military environment and contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

“Dong Thuan Ward, according to the plan assigned by the superiors, needs to recruit 30 young people in 2026; so far, 19 young people have volunteered to join the army. Of these, 14 young people have registered to perform military service and 5 young people have registered to join the people's police service,” said Nguyen Van Sinh, Commander of the Dong Thuan Ward Military Command.

"Young people in Dong Son ward also enthusiastically volunteered to join the army, contributing to protecting the Fatherland. The whole ward was assigned 29 quotas, but received 31 volunteer applications; of which 22 young people registered to perform military service and 9 young people registered to join the people's police service", Commander of Dong Son Ward Military Command Dao Hong Mien informed.

This is a very proud beauty of youth in the new era, demonstrating the spirit of self-awareness, awareness and responsibility of youth towards their homeland and country.
