Keep the flame of youth burning!

- Reporter: Congratulations to you both on receiving the "October 15th" award. How do you feel about receiving this prestigious award from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union?

- Mr. Quoc Toan:   I am deeply moved and proud to receive this award. This is a recognition of the efforts not only of myself but of the entire team, of young, passionate hearts. This award partly affirms that our efforts in innovating thinking and actions over the past period have yielded positive results.

- Mr. Tuan Anh:   I share the same feelings as Mr. Toan. Having the honor of receiving this award, we remind ourselves to uphold our responsibilities even more, to continuously strive in our work, to innovate our methods, and to listen more to young people… We will actively promote and help multiply the spirit of creative entrepreneurship, living beautifully, and living usefully… among young people.

- Interviewer: This honor today is the result of a long process. Could you share some of the things that led to this?

- Mr. Quoc Toan: I believe that youth union work must stem from the needs, aspirations, and legitimate interests of young people. Together with the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province, I have innovated the way we organize, connect, and support, aiming to make movements increasingly effective and practical. Based on practical experience, I have advised on and implemented many new initiatives and models, bringing clear results and being recognized by the Central Committee of the Union.

- Mr. Tuan Anh: For me, each program and movement is a journey of learning, growth, and spreading love. I always strive to innovate my approach to young people, understand their thoughts and aspirations, and build many great movements such as: "Youth living beautifully and usefully," "Youth starting and establishing businesses in their hometown," "I love my country"...

- Reporter: In this joyous occasion, could you both share how you came to be involved in youth organizations and movements?

- Mr. Quoc Toan: Since my time as a student, I have been involved in youth union and association activities. The dynamism, creativity, and community spirit of these organizations have ignited my passion and motivated me to dedicate myself to youth work. After being elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province, I deeply realize that I need to strive even harder to pass that flame on to young people.

- Mr. Tuan Anh: For me, youth union work is not just a chance encounter, but also a journey of passion and responsibility. That journey began when I was a student. I often tell people: "Youth union work is not just a job, but a part of life, a source of happiness." Witnessing young people mature, dedicate themselves, and be creative gives me more motivation to overcome all difficulties and challenges. I always tell myself: "No matter how many hardships there are, I must keep the flame of youth burning in my heart."

Overcoming challenges and creating breakthroughs with young people.

- Reporter: After the merger, what opportunities and challenges are youth organizations and movements facing, gentlemen?

- Mr. Quoc Toan: The merger opens a new phase with many opportunities. The biggest opportunity is organizational stability, better operating conditions, and especially an increased combined strength of young people. Challenges include a large geographical area, a large but dispersed youth population, a small number of association officials, and limited resources… The current reality demands that the association quickly adapt and actively innovate its methods of operation.

- Mr. Tuan Anh: In the current context, we always remind each other to maintain the spirit of unity, initiative, and creativity of the association's staff. We are determined to listen to the thoughts and aspirations, strongly awaken the desire to contribute, and the pioneering and committed spirit of the youth of Quang Tri in this new era to open up new opportunities.

- Reporter: Initially, what groundbreaking models and action programs have you developed and implemented?

- Mr. Quoc Toan: We have reformed the "I Love My Homeland" movement to be more specific and vibrant, linked to fundamental values. Along with that, association officials actively implement programs to support young people in their studies, creativity, and entrepreneurship… In particular, we always focus on the "Youth Volunteers for the Community" program.

- Mr. Tuan Anh: To adapt to the digital age, we focus on digital transformation in our association's work, building the "Quang Tri Youth Digital Space". Simultaneously, we are implementing a series of programs including "Youth Starting Businesses and Establishing Careers in Their Hometown" and the "Journey of a Green Heart - For the Community" program with practical activities.

- Interviewer: What plans or projects are you planning for the future?

- Mr. Quoc Toan: I, Mr. Tuan Anh, and the entire association will continue to innovate the content and methods of our activities. We aim to build a strong team of young people in Quang Tri province, possessing firm character and rich skills, becoming a central force in the socio -economic development of the province.

- Mr. Tuan Anh:   We are planning to implement several strategic and groundbreaking programs, focusing on three main directions: developing the "Quang Tri Digital Youth Ecosystem"; promoting youth entrepreneurship linked to sustainable development and spreading a culture of volunteerism; and building the image of Quang Tri youth as courageous, compassionate, responsible, creative, and integrated. We believe that, with the spirit of unity, creativity, and a desire to contribute, Quang Tri youth will continue to write beautiful stories, contributing to building a strong and prosperous homeland.

- Reporter: Thank you both!
